Directions to Darkhorse from State College
After College Ave (Route 26) turns into a one way street, go four blocks past the first stop light and it's on the left. The Darkhorse Tavern is located on College Ave (Route 26) between S. Pugh St. and Allen Street with entrances on College Ave. and Calder Way. The Calder Way entrance is opposite the Pugh St. Parking Garage which offers cheap, plentiful parking.
Directions to State College from Philadelphia
From the turnpike take exit 19 to Harrisburg. Then follow 322 West from Harrisburg (from this point you are about 1 1/2 hours away from State College). Stay on route 322 West and follow signs to Lewistown/State College/Penn State University. You will see a sign for Business Route 322, at that point follow signs that take you to Philipsburg. Take the State College exit that bisects Route 26. At the stop light that intersects Route 26, make a left hand turn - this will direct you to downtown State College. When Route 26 (our local College Avenue) turns into a one way street, you've made it to town. Directions to State College from Pittsburgh
Take Route 22 East to 220 North in Altoona. Take 220 North to State College. Route 220 will cut through a small town known as "Port Matilda", about 9 or 10 miles past this town signs will direct you to 322 East. Take the State College exit that bisects Route 26. At the stop light that intersects Route 26 make a right hand turn this will direct you to downtown State College. When Route 26 (our local College Avenue) turns into a one way street, you've made it to town.
